View Full Version : eBay 350X fender.. OEM?

Read the listing in this ad, from what I gather it says that this fender is aftermarket but not Maier. Was there another company other than Maier and Honda that made the 350X fender? Looks OEM to me http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260647982012&_trksid=p2759.l1259

I just got a response from the eBay member who is selling this 350X fender . He told me he was not sure who made it and that he bought it 3 years ago new on eBay and it's a way better quality than Maier and it has a high quality shine like OEM Honda plastic. Who else could have made 350X plastic so well?

I done some research and the original guy who had this fender said they don't make plastics anymore, he didn't say who .

Look like a Made in china fender.I bought 2 of these last winter from a local supplier,was sitting for many year in a warehouse.If it's the same thing,the plastic was poor quality and not flexible.Mine had a sticket on it tht said" Made in China"

I don't know if they are still around or if they even made plastic for ATV's but acerbis used to make plastic for bikes that was as good as OEM (IMO better, seemed to be more flexible in the cold). When I was riding dirt bikes in the late 90's they were 10x better than Maier. At that time all the Maier stuff had a texture finish on it and just looked cheap. I wasn't aware that Maier had improved some much until last week when I saw a new Maier set he had bought.
