I've got an old ramsey winch I'm trying to find some info on so as to sell. It's friggin enormous (big enough to where I damned near bust a nut lifting the thing off the ground)... but I can only find a series of numbers on it... none of which have yielded much online.

anyone got any ideas or any experience with it?

It was functional when it was removed from a truck a few years back. Need it gone.

that right there looks liek a hydrolic driven winch off a pole truck or a small crane i seen one liek that ona 12 ton crane back a few years ago. does it have a brake built between the hyd motor and the planitary reduction?

actualy on 2nd look its a screw type not a plantary reduction liek i first tought. but check if it has a brake between the screw housing and the drive motor itself

i don't know brapp...tell me what to look for and I'll look. It did come off a winch truck. We used to to lift large concrete boxes...upwards of 15k pounds. It's got like a 250x1 and 35x1 gearing on the side I believe.

I'll bring it to you if the price is right lol.
