Some guys has asked about the raptors in my sig so i decided to post some pics and mod info.

My 720 "play" bike is a 720, 102mm bore with 4mil stroker crank. It has Coal Shed Racing HV portwork +1 valves, X4 megacycle cam, 3rd gear cut transmission, +14 ladder swinger, jjanda axle, chromoly steering stem, Deaf Man Chassis +2,-2 drag a arms, twin 39mm FCR carbs and list goes on and on. I'll also post some pics of my 727 big bore i built a few years back, it will be the one with the wheelie bar on it. I cant post alot about my "big" motor im building now due to the port work and bore size but once its done in a few months I'll post pics. I will say this it will be making 130+hp on a 275lb frame.

My play bike runs 4.4s on pump gas and 4.3s on methonal.

The one with the wheelie bar ran 4.2s on meth 2yrs ago and the new big boy im building should run 4.1s easily on motor MAYBE 4.0s and in the high 3s ones we drop the dope on it!

Those are damn good times.
I have seen some outlaw shees running high 3's on alky! You are right there.

I am hoping that my 310 Tri-Z can get high 4's on 110 next time I get the chance..Previously it ran 5.12 pretty consistent, before some wholesale pipe gearing and porting changes. Cant keep the front end down then or now...
Problem is finding a track within 2 hours of my house to get it at.

Back when I drag raced cars, "They" said that once you get into the 10's you will spend a grand per
10th of second you want to gain..Gotta believe that with ATV's too. It can get pricey.:lol:
Once you get into the low 4's, get the wallet out!:D

Yeah its crazy the power we are getting from these 4 strokes now a days. I been in this a long time and 10yrs ago if someone had told me that the single cyl 4 strokes would be running in the low 4s and high 3s, I would have never believed it!
(Which the new single cyl 4 stroke record was set this spring with a 3.52@98 by K&T's turbo 700 raptor) We have come along way, its a fun sport but like you said once you get this fast it starts costing big bucks to go faster.
