well, i sold the 200x a few weeks ago, for 700. and just sold the 350 a few dys ago for 1500. that put me out of the trike boat. after putting about 500 into my sled (arctic cat cougar 500) and about 1000 into the bank i started lookin again, my choice was betweeen a 1983 250r (needed a new top end) for 900 or a 1988 lt250r race quad for 750 (new top end with high comp piston/powervalve) with these mods: dg bumper, dg nerfs, full dg skids, west coast swinger, dura blue axle, new radiator minuki 32mm carb, itp rims with maxxis tires, moose handle bars, new chain/sprockets race grill, barnett clutch, ricky stator/flywheel, fmf power core scilencer, new ball joints tie rods a arms front shocks (new front end) well i went with the lt250r. now some of u may say i should have gone with the trike, but i might race this quad, and i have already smoked both an 02 raptor 660, and an 85 250r. plus the 250r needed some cash put into it, the lt250r already had the cash put into it

o and i am still looking for a project trike

does anyone know how to adjust the power valve for more power and should i be running 50:1 or 32:1? also, what should the crank case oil level be at?

and hey, 1 quad and no trikes is better than no quads and no trikes :)

Not a bad looking quad, especially for $750. Check out these forums. I spent a lot of time on there when i had my lt250r. You'll find anything you want to know.
