i wanted to see if anyone else comes up with more
1) tape a penny on a bee sting, this works takes away swelling and itch.
2) keeps flys away, put 6 or 7 pennys in a ziplock sandwich bag add about 1 1/2 inch water, close the bag and hang it up. i did this in my horse barn and there is next to no flys in my barn now,

We used to put them on the train tracks when steam engines came to town. I've also used them as a spacers for dirt jumper fork with a couple nickles.

Used one as a fuse a long time ago in an old fuse box (don't do this).

Does the in a bag keep the flys away really work? We have goats and donkeys, and Evil 4 oz flys.

i had to re-rivet the steering mount bracket in the chassis of my Mach-Z last winter. The chassis and bracket are aluminum and 10 years of vibration enlarged the holes, so i drilled holes in a few pennies the size of my rivets to make large, sturdy washers to make the braket mount good and strong again...worked awesome! Did the same trick re-riveting cleats on an old Arctic Cat years back too....they make nice large diameter, small holed, rigid washers...

oh, also, used a penny in the gears between the centrifugal and manual clutch hubs on an autoclutch suzuki 230 so i could remove and re-install the centrifugal clutch nut....holds everything stationary, yet doesnt damage the gears...

Projectile to hit someone with. I have used it as a fuse, lol. Good brazing agent, I melted one on a piece of cherry red metal and ran a mini-bead.

i punched one sliughtly back in 2004 at a local indoor race after blowing a freese pluyg on a brand new yfz. dimpled it and made it slightly dished and droped it into the freezeplug hole and then smacked the dimple with apunch to seat it and as far as i know it stayed a really long time.

also use them as 100 yard targets for the marlin 17 hmr.

Well not sure its a use, but about 10 years ago at a party, I got flashed by a girl, who must have stored change in her bra, cause she had a penny stuck to her nipple... Use as a pastie...??? (she was from then on, refered to as "Pe-nipple"...)
