I just picked up an 87 T4 that needs a top end who do you guys recommend for cylinder sleeving?

If it hasn't had a sleeve installed yet, get it rechromed. Sleeving is a compromise in many ways, and ruins the cylinder. U.S chrome is tops in the plating industry.

Please explain the pros and cons of replating vs sleeving. I've read that it's more cost effective to sleeve in the long run. This is the first plated cylinder that I've had to work with so any help would be appreciated.

I've had bikes resleeved and have not noticed any negative engine performance but i guess it does ruin the cylinder. La Sleeve is a good source for finding the sleeves or you can send it to them and they will do the labor for you.
