champ 100 motor in raptor 80

anybody here heard of this, or done it? i'd like to speed up my son's rator 80 a little, and if found some vague references on the net about either adding a 4th gear to the raptor from the champ 100 gearbox, or using the whole engine\tranny(that seems like a better option) but so far i can't find much detailed info. any ideas? thanks!

I would throw a yz85 motor in it it would be a fun little ripper : )

i prolly would too but it's shaft drive. besides, i'm kinda hoping for a quick bolt in so i can easily return it to stock when he grows out of it.

It will work just fine. I actually have a Champ 100cc motor waiting for someone to do such a thing. PM me if you are interested. I have tons of parts for YFM80's and
100's.

thanks, but i think i already have one lined up. will definitely keep you in mind if that deal falls through, though. pretty much a straight bolt in as far as you know? exhaust, wiring,carb, etc?

Everything I believe. It has been a 3 years since I did the swap. I am almost positive everyhing hooks right up.
