Check this thing out...14,000 RPM's

How long do you think it will take for it to reach ATV production? 5-10 years?

 Imagine that in a 200x chassis  Or a atc 70

You would die if it was in the 70, and only have severe injuries if it were in the X... :D

You would burn a hole in your crotch if it was in a atc 70. You would basically be sitting on the engine. Not my idea of fun.

sweeeeeet!

Everyone knew these were coming though.. with the downfall of 2 strokes, the 4 strokes had to be reinvented.

Man that thing is a thing of beauty - the only problem is that if its in line with the other Aprilla bikes - one with that in it would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of one to two million dollars. (ok, so I'm exaggerating - but they are pretty freaking pricey - more than a Dukey)

v-twin motors for off road have been around since the 80's. nothin new here.

Hasn't Kawasaki been using a v-twin for a while now in the prairie 650? which evolved into the 700 v-force twin?

YUP...and now Pooplaris has the inline twin in their 700 (and the 600 if I'm not mistaken)
