would it be feasable/cost effective to replace worn or broken suspension with airbags or pneumatic adjustable suspension? that way you could adjust it to hard/soft and high/low riding styles. low and soft for drags, or high for climbing or serious offroad trails. add a height limiter(threaded rods around it with nuts) keeping the suspension low but higher pressure for races where you want to kick the back around for better corners. if you have room you can put a pump on it, if not just set it up so u can pump it with a bike pump or air compressor. (airbags are 79-200 bucks from what i skimmed over yesterday)
