If it's got high/low/reverse and electric start it's an 84 200es, not a 200e....and I agree, the price is too high!

This 1982-83 200E has reverse hi lo range and its basically the same as the 1984 200ES BIG RED but this one has a primary chain drive, the 84 200ES has a shaft drive and the first year model to come out with it in 1984. This one is a bit rusty and well used from the looks of it, 300 bucks is all I would give.

Incorrect, the 1982-83 200E was only a chain drive big red with high and low gears and electric start. The 1984 200es is a 1 year only model in the US with Shaft drive, Electric start, High, Low and Reverse

mmmmmm isn't that what I just said?lol . I did get the reverse wronge on the 82-83 big red, sorry. but they did make a reverse kit for those models.

Hey that's a picture of my 200Es in your profile. I did sell it back around january. Did you end up with it? Here is my pictures of it. I pumped well over 2 grand in that restoration, nearly all OEM NOS Honda parts.

honda200x thats a nice 200es I wish mine looked that good mines more of a farm beater. Im into more of the 80-84 bigreds and 83-85 200x then the bigger atcs. Heres a picture of my 200es it needs the fender supports and is running 8 inch tires.

kool! Do you need rear fender supports? I seen some NEW OLD STOCK rear fender supports on ebay. Those big reds will last forever, you can't kill em! very tough machines, they were built for farmers.

Link? They dont need to be new. I accually didnt know that the fenders had any supports. 2 out of 3 of my bigreds didnt have them when I bought them. Untill I bought my last one 2 months ago and it didnt have saggy fenders I looked and saw them.

Here is what you need, they are the rear fender supports, you will also need 4 12mm bolts to mount them. No, but the pics I have of your 200 are on my frig in my garage...being used as the show piece of "what ours are going to look like once we have them restored!"

Cool Thanks man! I love my 200 and also feel lucky to get it for $700. I keep kicking myself for that stupid crash that bent my forks. But Im sure I can get them straitened, or find un bent ones somewhere. Good luck on your restore and keep me posted.

I was referring to the pics I "borrowed" from Honda200x1987...but I do like your 200 also!:)

You should be able to find the forks on Ebay or Craigslist somewhere is you can't get them straightened out as best as possible...just keep looking!
