Hey guys I just got my first vehicle ever. I'm 16 and get my licence in 3 months. Its a 2000 Ford Ranger EXT cab Stepside 4x4. New tires, new brakes, new muffler 115,000 miles. Runs good.Payed $3000. Has a dull door from the PO's son "cleaning" the door with a scotch brite pad. So I gotta polish and compound that. Has two dents that need to be popped out. Other than that its good. Im very exited its what ive always wanted. If anyone has a tailgate extender, a brush bar/ cattle pusher, black doors, or a glasspack let me know. After I find all that it will be sweet. Let me know what you think about that dull door.

Man I wish my first vehicle was that nice. Mine was a rusty 88 cavalier that I had to change the motor in it and I worked it off at a local mechanics shop. Ranger's are pretty nice trucks only thing I don't like about them is there kinda gutless even the V6's

Looks like a great truck to start out with. I gonna get my licence pretty soon too. I have a 85 ford f150. It has a flatdeck instead of a box. It is not a very nice color, green, and has a big bumper on the front that someone made. At least I will have a vehicle to drive.

Please, Please don't put a glasspack on that... If you want it to sound like a POS, why not buy a POS and save yourself some money?? Nice truck, you can do a whole lot better than a glasspack. Cut the muffler off it will sound the same.

Lol alright. I heard one a while back and it sounded good and smooth, maybe he had more done to it. And I plan on polishing it like crazy to get the scratches out

Congratulations on the truck.

I put a lot of miles on a Ranger; never had any trouble with it.

The door: You can try buffing it out; but if the PO scratched it through the clearcoat, it still may show up. Give it a try though.
