Anything that old in great condition is worth buying and storing....... Weren't the Elsinores 79 and older??

Imagine if you had bought 20 2K 250R's and held onto them till now, whats the return on that!!

Rick I think I know the one your talking about and it's nice. It would make a good vintage racer but as an investment NO. Well not at this time. If you hung on to it, can you keep it for 10 or so years, you might double your money. Their only going for $500-700 in VG con. My buddy tried all summer selling his, even on EBay and couldn't get close to what he wanted and it was perfect. A 9 out of 10 and the top on Ebay was $650. Tommy still has it sitting in his collection. I don't think the 250's will ever bring the money like the 480's.

Elsinores were anything before watercooled. That CR is worth about a grand, possibly more. I had an 80 CR250 and was one of the funnest bikes i have ever ridden.

Wow. I didn't even know they made an air cooled CR 500. Guess you learn something every day.
