I have that problem in addition to my push mower problem. I enjoy working on them. I guess it beats a 2 hooker and 8 ball a day problem.

o hell, I feel your pain!!! What is it with me and rusty stuff? I just bought a 18,000 lb 1942 crane, pretty stupid for living in the suburbs. (what a way to wreck the lawn)
Nice collection! you should buy/fix/sell them and make some side money for the trikes!

Actually thats what I do, buy junk on CL and auctions and fix them up and usually break even for the most part......I've been working on my atc70 tire fund for a couple months now.

Nice collection of mowers. I love to collect and restore 2 stroke lawnmowers(expecially Lawn-Boys). I also fix up what I can find cheap on craigslist(and sell....sometimes). My favorite mowers are my TORO's with 2 cycle Suzuki engines.

was hopin to borrow yours DC! yea i dont know what is wrong with me.

I always kinda liked those lawnboys with the front offset wheel. I have never run one but always wondered about the design. I assume the exit was designed in such a way that the throw is a tangent to the blade spin. Not sure of the advantage tho..less buildup in the throat of the exit, bigger opening, etc

The design of the "staggered wheel" deck is actually to prevent scalping on hills and uneven surfaces. I love lawnboys, these little 2 stroke engines are stone dead reliable and extremely easy to work on.

Yep,my TORO's are the best mowers i've ever used, and the lawn-boys are close runners-up, they are grass cutting monsters!

I have the same addiction. 8 push mowers, 11 riding mowers, 5 walk behinds (was 6, just sold my Toro). I have a 1959 Onan generator to tinker with also.

glad to see i'm not the only one. and now I plan on picking up one of those lawnboys.

I think i just spoke for a simplicity W with a 32" mower tonight, so that makes 8.
