Hey guy been a while since I've posted anything. Been busy with work, kids racing and my jeep project and really dont have the time to spend on some of this stuff and think that it should be in the hands of guys that will appreciate it.:naughty:

Anyway I'm going to start thinning down on the stuff that i have. getting rid of some of the collector 3 wheelers, rare parts and a lot of other stuff that i have around.

Tiger 500 is already gone

The stock front hub uses a rim that the part of the rims that bolts to the hub is in the center of the rim. They don’t make them anymore (guess Douglas might in a .125) but its 8"dia x 8" wide. Most all the better tires now are 9" or 10" dia. The rims in 9" or 10" dia aren't centered they have a 3" x 5" offset. You can’t use them on the front cuz the rim would sit to far to one side. So I made a spindle/hub that is offset 1" to the one side. The other thin is all the new rims are 4x110mm bolt/hubs so I machined it basically so any Honda rear rim can be used on the front of the '81/'82. My 480 there is using 200x front forks and brakes. The rotor is bigger but is mated to the spindle. To run the Hoosiers I need a 10" rims and it worked perfectly.

I'll take some close ups of it and pull the rim off so you guys can see it better

I agree this bike is too cool! Been chomping at the bit to buy your parts for a "some day" project myself! Sweet build!
