Hello, was part of the forum on the old site nowIm here, so Guess its time to get to it.
Im making an attept to re-aquire an 84 tecate I had.

It has a stock pipe and a Richter silencer, I would love to quiet it down. Any pipe/silencer combo recomendations? I still have an aftermarket pipe for it but have no clue what it is.

I'm fairly sure that the stock silencer is the quietest with everything aftermarket being fairly loud. The longer the body of the silencer the quieter it will be. As far as I know your only options for hub patterns with the 84 axle would be the 84 (4/4) or 85 (4/156). If you do find a Honda hub that would allow you to run 4/110 wheels let me know, that would be great to say the least. Durablue made a hub that would allow you to run 4/110 wheels on the 84-85 axle, but they are uber rare and hard to find.

i havent seen biggreenmachine on here in sometime, but send him a pm, i know there is a set of honda hubs that will work on the 84/85 axle, but the splines on the hubs have to be worn or something like that. im not sure what hubs, i wanna say 400ex or maybe it was the 300ex, oh hell, its been a while.

scoot i think you have these mixed up with the '86 tecate.. '86 uses a 24spline... as do the 300x/400ex/450r..and most other hondas besides 250r.. I have never heard of any 13 spline hubs besides aftermarket durablues that would offer a favorable wheel pattern.. at one point i was planning to build a custom 4/110 set out of some stock ones, but never got around to it.
