Atc Motor in Quad Frame

Does anyone here Have Try To Get A Dead Quad And Swaping The Engine From A Trike ( Honda ).
I Have Seen A Couple " Rolling Frames " In Ebay. :?:

... people have been putting 350X motors in 250X/300EX and 250R frames for years.

My brother has a TRX250R with the 350X engine in it.

It is bored to a 372, stroked, high performance cam, new rod and crank, beefed clutch, White Bros E-Series pipe, '89 swing-arm, & PEP shocks. Thats all I know it has...it might have more that I forgot to mention. This thing flat out hauls ass. Its geared down for the woods, but she is a torque monster. She will also spin and wheelie through all 5 gears at will and in any RPM range. Trust me...I've done it.

I'd think that this is the best conversion that you could do. Unless its a larger engine like the XR650 or similar street bike engine.

First, check ebay, cycletrader online, and then go to your papers and cycle trader magazine.

you know what would be sweet, to put a 350x engine in a 250x/300ex and then put a 430 powroll kit in the 350x engine. Thats would haul azz!! :twisted:

The 390 kit my brother's friend had was wicked fast as it was. It was a 390 stroker with a high performance cam. I couldn't imagine the 430 kit. :shock:

im not sure where i saw it,but i read about a 503cc or a 504cc bigbore kit for the 350x.that'd be insane.:twisted:
But then you can get crazy and put a watercraft jug on a 250R and get 500+cc's out of that...TWO STROKE even.yikes:shock:
I like Powroll alot though,they do nice work and their products work well with eachother(the packages they sell)
