I work as an exploration core driller underground in a zinc/copper mine in Northern Manitoba.

I work in an area with lots of mining. We drill mostly for zinc and copper around here, and use diamond encrusted bits to recover a core sample which is then sold to geology

i am sorta in the field of natural gas drilling but i am nore in the dirt work side of things. i run equipment and build the pads to set the rigs up and pipeline construction.

im not at the diamond mine in the nwt anymore. i am now 36600 feet underground at a potash mine in saskatchewan. hot and dusty not to much fun

i am part of the world record holder crew for horixontal drilling we drilled 5420 feet in 10hrs with no failures and i was the waste water / mud tank disposal( bailing cuttings and water with the excavator)

man i need a job like that i work with the natural gas not really like the guys that posted in this thread, i just do natural gas main installs and service lines we do lots of horizontal bores i work for atmos energy. not as exciting actually drilling for the actual gas source.
