But I believe they remain service in the US?

As apprehensive as the US Marines were when they first heard they were getting the Harrier, they sure do seem to enjoy them now. More parts for the Marines. LOL What an interesting and unique machine.

better than the osprey in my opinion, probably has a safer and better track record too

Love the Osprey, Simply awesome, plus Arnold dosen't seem to be able to fly them.

I have been around the Harrier for the last 11 years. Awesome jet IMO. Not sure how much longer they will be in service for. We are expecting to start receiving the F-35 in 2012 and have 8 squardons of them by 2014. i can't wait, its going to be a badass jet. The F-35 will eventually replace the Marine Corps F-18 also.
