Just curious as to how many of us trikers are also bronco nuts. I own a 68 bronco that is in fairly rust free condition, just taken apart and needing some body panels before she can be back on the road. also have to rewire her as most of the wires have lost their color and turned black.

so if you got one post up some pics, from early to full size, i love to see em

this is what she looked like when I got her, now she is missing the entire front end sheet metal and waiting for the 302 transplant as she used to be a 170 I6. also gave her a wild horses 3 1/2 in lift up front , still stock in the rear, that comes after she gets running again.

I really like the early broncos, and I'm starting to respect the bronco ll a little but ever since I was a little kid I LOVED 78-79 broncos.....so I have 1 of each....lol

My 78 has been in my garage since I bought it around 95-96 and is getting a full restoration, more like a restomod. My 79 is my driver that I had since 97. I threw a built up 460 in it maybe 5 years ago and rebuilt the C-6 for the second time since I bought it this year. The first time was a year after bought it in 98 and it had 140,000 miles, it lasted till this year and now has a quarter million miles.....sounds better then 250,000....lol

Anyway, I have wanted/ loved broncos for at least 30 years and had a few other parts broncos over the years to keep mine going. I'll post up some pics when I'm on my computer.

First I'll show what my 79 looked like when it was new. These are the ones I rember sitting at the dealer and driving around when they were new and these are the onse that got me hooked. This is called a Freewheeling package and the decals shine like a road sign at night. Mine still has the decals on one side but it was painted over.

I lowered it a good bit since I bought it but now it sits on 35s with a 6'' lift. Built 460, 400hp 500tq....lol

I have a 1984 XLT Fullsize, with a 93 EFI 351w that I swapped in.(transmission was blown on the 93 and picked it up for 600bux) pics are kinda old but it pretty much looks the same.. Its a work in progress. I have a 4 inch lift for it,and 4.10 gears that were also on the 93,gonna run 35's. then build the motor a little (gt40 heads, edlebrock intake, headers ect ect) oh and the fenders on the 185 have been polished up so they arent pink anymore

My brother and I dropping the built 351W into my '70. Truck's not quite done yet, still building the full-width high-pinion disk brake D44 front and the full-width Detroit Locked disk brake D60 rear axles. Trans is a ZF 5 spd.

Looks SWEET!

I bet that built 351w in a EB is about the same as my built 460 in my 79 as far as weight to HP. That sucker should RUN!

I have a 77 with a 302, automatic transmission, disk/power brakes, power stearing and a factory headliner. She is wrecked bad in the front now, but has been in the family since 1990 and isn't going anywhere.
