Did yamaha make a fat cat?I know Honda did but I wasnt sure about yamah..
But I have a chance to buy one for $100.Its runs but needs some brake/cosmetic work.

BUT I went to ebay to search and make sure parts for it were plentiful and when I type in ''yamaha fat cat'' nothing comes up.....

Try BW "Big Wheel" They made a BW200, BW80, and a BW350.

If you get the big wheel, 85 is a one year only and kick start only. 86 and later bw200 are electric start. There are differences in engine parts between the kick start only and electric only models. Have fun.

The yamaha bw 350 has the best ride . The yamaha bw 200 has the manual clutch and the honda fatcat is auto clutch . I like the seat better on the honda fatcat , it sets better than the yamaha bw 200 . They are all great bikes including the little yamaha bw 80 .

I'd rather have kickstart only rather than electric only.....

Yes, I do like my 85 for the kickstart only. Some people are all about the electric start though. The bws' aren't fast, but they are fun. They go through mud and snow and creeks and all kinds of good stuff. As long as you don't want dirtbike fast, they are a great machine.

It's like my mud bike, with only 7 horses, but massive tires and all low end torque, I've cleared mud that dirtbikes have gotten stuck in. It only tops at 35 though, but gets there QUICK.
