I don't know how sturdy that rear axle is. You can use a go kart rear axle. You just need to know what thickness for the axle, there are several different thicknesses. You can also get the hubs for the wheels and a disc brake and a sprocket hub as well. You can get the axles in different widths and with locking split collars, you can have an infinitely adjustable rear axle. Just a suggestion. Keep up the good work. I keep checking in on your progress.

the rear end is crap but it is solid steel under the tube but i snaped it when it was on my 125 2 stroke go kart so i put a tube over the brake im trying to find a cheap one or get a new bearing and weld the crap out of it there is a rear end im going to look at tomorrow hopefully the spockets in the right spot the muffler is off a 78 sp 370 back presser is not a problem these motors run great on top end with straight pipes im only useing it cause i need a spark arester for the summer if you dont have one in bc forestry has the right to take your bike and you cant get it back my area is bad for forest fires

Is there any bearing in the rear axle?? It looks like it just goes right through the swing arm.

Could you get some closer pics of the way you mounted the rear sprocket? I was gonna make a Mini Tri-Z out of a 1992 YZ80 I had but had no idea what to do for the rear axle :wondering
