Just bought this Sunday from Craigslist. Its 86 F150 auto with 5.0 engine. 130k miles on it. Runs great, everything works except the AC. Even the cruise contol works. I have a set of black wheels with new tires I am going to put on it. I also plan on taking the running boards off. Best part is I only paid $850 for it. No rust, other than scrathes in the bed that have slight rust.

I scored again on Craigslist today by getting a 40 dollar bed liner for it.

I got rid of my new Silverado because my commute was costing 400 a month in gas. Have a Nissan Versa now for the commute.

Here is the inside after cleaning it out. I tore the head liner out. The floors are rubber, so they cleaned easily. Added floor mats and seat cover, doesn't look to bad now.

Also that gray plate in the middle of the dash was just a big hole where the radio should be. I took that part of the dash off and glued that piece of plastic to the back. Almost matches and looks normal, almost. Sorry, I know the picture sucks.

www.ford-trucks.com

is a website like this, only without the surfer attitude.

look for your year specific forum.
or use the search key and you'll get any answers you ever need.

Niceee, nice nice!

AC probably just needs a recharge at the least... 130K ain't bad either.

I'm looking at trading The Mutt(450x) for an '88 F250 with a freaking 460 in it. It'll get about 5 gallons to the mile........

nice score! Cant go wrong with a Ford. I have a 1990 f150 4x4 with the 5.0 5spd and a 1995 f150 with the straight 6 auto. Love them both.
