Help ! Site tech help with my photo editor

I can not seem to ad photos with my posts .on the top of my file upload manager it sez 17.20mb of 976.6 kb used . So am I to the point I need to delete some pictures to make room ? if so I do not see a delete button ? I tryies toload and then give me a error message ? Is there a 3ww for Dummies Thread ? if not we need one !
