I just picked up another truck, its all lettered up from door to tailgate, whats the best way to remove them? They are vinyl stickers. Im afraid to go postal and use chemical warfare, what have you guys used?

Our trucks logo's were such a PITA.......

Heat guy and plastic scraper worked best. They just didn't wanna peel off.

I used a heat gun (on low) to get the dealerships name off the tailgate of my truck. It was also vinyl. They came right off with just my hands, no tools.

A rubber eraser works great...Can get them at body shop supplies stores i think, Just Chucks into your drill and will peel the stickers off without Damaging the paint....Will probably have to give the truck a buff so you don't see where they used to be, if they have been on there that long.

That's what I use at my shop. The one I have is from Snap On and they call it a Crud Thug. Mine has a couple hundred hours of priceless use by my guys. I couldn't begin to count how many times others have borrowed this thing to remove decals from vehicles. If I was in the tool rental business I almost think I could make a living off renting just this one tool out.

If there is any residue left over, goo-gone works really well. And yeah, if they've been on there that long you'll still be able to see where they were pretty easily.....good luck.

x2 on the goo-gone. I've also had luck with good ole "weasel piss" AKA WD-40.

goo-gone works great,,,Just gota be careful with the stuff..takes the goo and the finish off too if you let it sit to long,,,or rub it in to much.

The paint is fairly decent, im hoping after the stickers are gone ill be able to blend it in. And buck, if you do decide To go into the tool rental business, let me know!
