2.5 years in the making... started off as a big bore trail bike, ended up being my CRA, Open A, Race bike. I don't have alot of "in progress" pics, and I am sure most people on here know what it takes to build something like this anyway. A special thanx to ; Sprock Racing, Hall Performance, Pendry Powdercoating, HRR YAMAHONDAMAN, McNett Performance, JEMCO Exhaust, and especially my loving wife, Amanda. So, here it is.:pics::pics::pics:

what I started with... a total basket case:

the doner KTM 85sx forks:

When it was all said and done, this is what I ended up with:

Thanx for the compliments fellas. The fuel tank is good for racing only, as it only holds 3/4 of a gallon, but that's MORE than enough for 1 moto. The orange Plastics are limited run MAIER for Sprock racing. I think there are only 4 or 5 sets of orange in the country.

I saw this trike last weekend in person. Someone came up to me and said someone built a nicer 330 Z than mine.
That is a accurate assesment..But which one is quicker?:naughty:
Maybe we will get to line them up one day.:D

It is definately nice, and the fuel tank is a nice piece.

Great job, and that brings the Sprock 330Z running tally to a total of 4 on this forum of recent.

Well thanx to everyone for the kind words. I put ALOT of hard work into this thing, and thanx for noticing. I'll try to answer the questions to this point:

phantombiker- no, the pipe in the background is not for sale...not even mine.
Eric250R- fornt wheel is stock 12" with a 23x8-12 CST Ambush.
puggerton03- Silencer is a Coffmans
Mosh- thanx man, means alot. We WILL line em up one of these days!
zzmegad- front forks are KTM 85sx mounted w/ Jason Hall triples. Stock front wheel.

And for the record...THIS THING RIPS!!! Stump pulling torque....THEN it hits the pipe! Definately the most powerfull 3 wheeler I have ever been on. It pulls harder than my 250 does, without even being in the pipe! I can't wait to get her "dialed" this spring.

Could you Tell us more on the REAR shock Set up, Brand & Cost would be great.

The rear shock is a fully adjustable PEP ZPS, custom built for my bike and swinger set-up. It turns out that Wayne (the owner of PEP) youst to race Tri-Zs back in the day, so he already has experience with the shock set-ups (unlike EVERY other place i called). Cost?... TOO MUCH!!

The blue rad hoses are NLA...I got this set from YAMAHONDAMAN, he just happened to have bought a set when they were available, and was kind enough to pass them on to me.

Don't quote me on this, but I am pretty sure he gets $500 for the big bore kit WITH the billet head and dome. And I GUARANTEE it makes more power than a PV 250. You have to call Corey or Eric at Fullbore powersports, to order parts. 573-581-1382

Awesome just awesome. I'm gonna have my work cut out for me. What all did it take to run those forks?

zmpolaristech
09-03-2011, 11:55 AM
Awesome just awesome. I'm gonna have my work cut out for me. What all did it take to run those forks?

It will require a set of custom triples, custom front axle and spacers, custom rotor and caliper set-up, and a set of 46-48 kg/mm springs for the forks (also custom wound). Jason Hall can hook you up with the triples, axle, spacers, and rotor adapter...after that it is up to you to work the bugs out.
