I accidentally made this trike when i went to rumble on the ridge last year, axle broke on the first turn of the trail, was a bit mad that i could not go through the trail that time but i guess i was not taking all day to go the rest of the trail with someone sittin on the front to keep that side up. ha ha

Did the same to my polaris with 12hrs on it, hadn't even made a payment yet... it was the front right hand side at 55mph...

Backwards trike, doesn't count! At least you did wreck real bad, that could have been a disaster!

Must be a polaris thing, my buddy's dad bought a 2007 800 or 850 and put tracks on it, one of the first rides the track mounts broke off and ripped the fenders and rack off of the back along with the hub and axle. Lots of damage to a brand new quad.

Now see? Since trikes are coming back, the quads are getting jealous!!

you did it all wrong! there is only suppose to be one wheel in the front, not the rear.

yeah, the older ones break a lot, except my sisters has not needed any major work at all, only bushings and stuff like that, i never seen by experience but the i have herd the new ones are better

Okay, first we had early cars(4 wheels), then motorcycles(2 Wheels), then three wheelers(Three Wheels), then.....four wheelers? I think technology took an evolutionary leap backwards, and is now only picking back up, just with one too many wheels.

So Polaris is like the slime that morphed into a fish and Honda is like a man.

Polaris has a great ride. Only rivaled by the Can ams. But the frames on the Hawkeyes are really chincy. I've welded a few of them. I still love my trikes, but I love my quads too. The Sportsmens are good machines. We had 15" of snow last week and my neighbor plowed all of it with a 325 Sportsman.

i would like to have a polaris outlaw with the KTM 525 motor in it...freaking sweet quad with one of my favorite motors in it. fox suspension and it has great graphics on it to boot. dont know much about the quad, but i know that motor will most likely out live it

The KTM Motor is tuned down, KTM cant have a Polaris beating them.

The Outlaw 525's are not all they are cracked up to be. My mom works at a polaris/kubota dealership in Henderson, Texas.
I stayed down there in november, and rode the 525s. I was not impressed.

No question Polaris ATV's ride nice. They do have a bad stigma in these parts for being unreliable and way too heavy to negotiate the floating bogs we call muskeg. I believe the lower price and free add ons is what attracts people mostly.

damn i would have thought that the KTM motor would have been bitchin...i wish i could test ride one. they have one at the local dealer for $4200

Im sure it nice, Nice then Polaris best effort of they would be using it. Its just detuned a bit.

Of course it's nice, I'm just saying it's not too impressive when compared to true KTM's, and other quads of the same size.
