lol, best drummer? no showiest? yes lol. pretty impressive that he didn't drop the sticks. All I could think was "this is how Chris Farley would have played the drums".

Very good drummer, yes. Best in the world? He'd have to do a lot more than that to be considered the best in the world.

^Both impressive. And the upside down dude from slipknot- Joey something.

But I am old and set in my ways. Neil Peart all the way.

Gotta Love some Tom Sawyer.

+3. Neil has been known to break drum heads on his WARM up :crazy:

Also another extremely talented individual (well, at least he was) is The Rev from Avenged Sevenfold. His solos are something else...

Oh yeah, these guys need to stop playing at theme parks...

x 4 for Neil Peart. Whenever the best drummer topic comes up, Neil Peart is always in the running.

the drummer from slipknot is joey jordison and i would have to say he is the fastest drummer in the world that can keep a beat.

x 5 for Neil Peart, he can still hammer them into the ground, even in his 50s. I'm going to see him perform in April, can't wait!!!!! The Rev was awesome also, too bad he's dead. I also lean towards Mike Portnoy and Dave Mackintosh.
