Who runs fenders on there trikes and who uses heel guards.

I'm looking for heel guards for 85+
a) Neighbor kid headed straight for the creek and right before he rolled it into the water with the trike on top, he put his foot down and ran himself over.
b) now I need new fenders.
c) maybe a kill switch teather
