Yo Tecate guys,
Is the gold edition any more special than the regular version?
I'm thinking when YAM writes special edition on a quad is it the same concept? Like diff paint & stickers.
Thanks

Turns out it's an 84 after searching google pic's. Picture that was sent was horrible so i figured it out by the side the exhause pipe ran. Anyway i guess some think the gold edition is because it has gold forks & a gold swing arm. I have no idea. Again not a Kawi guy. Unless it was an 87 tecate then i would be a Kawi guy..

So what is the going price on an 84 that's complete but has been sitting? anyone?
I know free is the best price, but what is the avarage if you were to buy?

The 84 Tecate has gold wheels, fork lowers, swingarm, carrier, shock cantilever, and strut. If it is complete but has been sitting and won't run I'd say $3-500 depending on condition of the parts that are there.
The 85 Tecate has aluminum wheels, fork lowers, and the swingarm and suspension components are silver.
