Just wondering if any of you guys are running a 6.7 Cummins. With the talk of $4.00 gas this summer, I'm thinking about doing the EGR and DPF deletes.

If you've already done it what programmer did you use?
Had any issues?
How much did your mpg go up?
Did you install a smoke switch?

I have been doing tons of research and it goes in a big loop. If I'm gonna spend this much coin, I want to buy the best bang for the buck.

First off stick or auto? If auto your going to need a built trans if u wanna run with the programmer all the way up, or a clutch if you have stick. Get all your deletes and buy a smarty programmer. I was getting 26mpg hwy on my 5.9, and don't install a smoke switch, its ghey.

Its an auto and everything I have read no one is having problems with that trans with a programmer. The standard guys blow up clutches left and right. H and S seems friendlier to work with and overall it seems H and S guys get better mpg. Bad part is none of programmer companies will talk mpg since a programmer is for off road use only.

I'm sure I will install the smoke switch, probably never push it but I want it.

Thats because the newer 6.7 come with g56 manual trans instead of nv5600. I promise you, running a hot tune over 60hp on a stock dodge auto trans your going to blow it up.
