Are there any other cdi's that are interchangeable with the big red 200e? i think the year is an '83

For lack of better info, I'd be tempted to see if part numbers cross reference.

Altho, some parts places use different numbers for the same part.

Technical questions like this would get more exposure in the 'trikesylvania' section here on 3ww or you can try the search key and get a ton of info on this topic in one shot.

okay i'll post it in the other forum, thanks. i know it's the cdi and my buddy has a 125m cdi he was going to give me but i didn't know if it would work or not.

sunLpartsonline.com has the cdi units starting at 69, yes 69 cents.

Very bizarre site supplier to chinese mfg bikes etc.
