HONDA TRX 200x QUAD. I need to know about them.

I have heard about TRX200x quad from Honda and they didn't sell it here to United states of America but why??

I would love to buy one & where can i find them?

what year do they made from & until it ends of produced line of those cool quad?

post some real pictures of those cool & neat machines...



I know it's same as ATC 200x from an '86-'87 , now i owned an '86 200x.

From what I remeber these wer made from left over 3 wheelers after the ban and were sold in South America and Mexico - not 100% sure but that is the way I remember it.

Argentia seems to have the most action with these. Some are claimed to be '96 models.

The 200x quads are very interesting to me. There almost like factory honda production of the astro conversions. The only thing that comes to mind as to why they made them would be that honda knew that the 200x was one of there biggest sellers and when they produced the 2nd gen they must have made alot of machines ahead of time expecting a huge demand for them on showrooms. Prolly didnt expect the 3wheeler ban and had to come up with a way to sell them to recoop from the loss. What ever there reasoning its a sweet machine and someone on this site needs to school us on it!

WOW, those pictures are great. i wish they should starting making them and sell it to us in USA, cuz i want one!!... I do remember saw that first photo on trx 200x with blue/white in color that i last saw it in my dirtwheels magazine way back in 1996, i think.. it looks almost exactly to Honda sportrax 250ex that honda current selling them today... so whatever happen to a REAL TRX 200x??? it's has best engine and lightweight machine that i like the most.

Anyone has ever thoughts about Put all stock '86 atc 200x motor onto to FOURTRAX 250x quad (1987-1992). that would be a totally great ideas also.
