Adding a new hobby in my house. We already own a 1987 Yamaha Wave Jammer It was free, from the father inlaw, I have $68 in it and some labor. It had set for about 11 years, I tore apart entire fuel system ran new fuel lines and bought new battery and it runs like a dream. It looks new. Huge pain in the butt to get on in the middle of the lake. Also got a 1986 Bayliner this winter with a 90 hp Merc.

Today I bought a 1989 Kawi 650sx stand up and a 1990 300sx stand up. Any good forums for these? I have always been a big stand up fan from when I was younger. 300 runs perfect and looks dang good for its age. 650 needs some tlc, it has a new topend and has seen water since. Also got a new carb kit and the guy can't get it to run now, it fouls plugs as soon as it starts. Not sure what they are worth but I paid 750 for the pair with a home built trailer. I think I can modify the trailer some and sale it for an easy 500.

no forums that i know of. check out pacificjetsports for parts. they have anything and everything for the standups. They are also very knowledgable. I you need any help just give me a shout. I know B Raffa has a couple and will chime in.

I have a 94 wB 701 and a 99 kawi 750 zxi couch.THese new skis totally blow,ya might as well buy a boat for the family.I like the hx 720 and the stand ups,:( this will be the last year to get a brand new stand up from either kawi or yamaha:(

I heard a rumor that kawi wasn't going to make any stand-ups in 2012 and will have a new four stroke stand up for 2013...not sure how much truth is to it.
