its definitely aftermarket, the design looks like some of the basic design of the Westcoasts I have for my Tecates, so I would guess its a Westcoast but could be wrong...

Is it a DICO swinger?

That is a stock extended. Looks like plus 6.
They did a decent job on it, but that price is high, but hey someone really wanted it.

Looks similar to a tecate westcoast (way different look from a 250r) with the rectangular tubing and angled bracing... I wouldn't call that Nuttsville, just a wrong guess...

I didn't mean the guess was wrong, I meant whoever paid that for it.

because one of two things... thats eather a dico or a Jp racing +6,, My bet is a dico ,, which I've never seen one for a tri z ,,, and the bracing/tubeing is the same as my dico...

Now that I looked again, I was definately wrong. Not stock extended. DOH.

That was my thoughts. I have seen two others like it. Yours, and a plus 6 airfooler swinger.

And the engine had a DG Cylinder on it as well, with a 38 carb.

Hi,

Thier is a couple of factors why this swing arm went so high. You had a couple good guess.dico did not make swing arms they were made by someone else and they put there name on them just like white brothers. jp racing mainly used calfab.

The swing arm in question is definitely "tri-z westcoast +4"
The last tri-z westcoast +2 sold for $650.00 from a member here.So I say 1, 2" longer is worth $100.00 more.Another fact the early westcoast were blue the color changed in 84

Dico used pk and westcoast.they also sold ufo plastic, mitchell rims.

Know for the price thier is 3 tri-z westcoast +2 and 1 tri-z westcoast +4 know of so far.this was the last aftermarket part needed so price was no object.

THANKS TUNES!!!!

I am not sure.It does have similarites. But my westcoast did not have the rear chain slider mount. It had 2 bolt holes.Jed had made me a mount years ago.As he has a westcoast as well. I forget who got my westcoast?Someone from Mass I think??? I dont know if Triztunes has +2 westcoast. But he is very knowledgeable about this stuff.Plus I dont think he would dropped big $$$ on something he wasnt sure about...

The construction is very slimier to my two Tecate westcoasts, it was my first guess when I saw it, but it went way beyond my tri-z budget. I'd say if he put up the money, he's pretty sure of it...

I just got a new Dennis Kirk catalog and I was paging through it when I saw extended swingers for quads. It seems like they were like $700 for new in production models. If that's the case I would think that a name brand out of production, rare piece for a Tri-Z would be well within this price range. With axle, hubs, sprocket, rotor, brake line and linkage included, it doesn't seem that high to me.

WOW I saw this whole bike on craigslist I think he was selling it for like $500.00 in San Bernardino. I just picked up an 85 for $100.00 on Monday for parts, took it home changed some fluids and it fired up last night. I cant believe what you guys on the Eastcoast pay for these Z's.

I have picked up some old 3 wheeling mags and it looks like the Westcoast swinger in the ads, just longer.
