I was wonderin' how our southern neigbors are too. All the gulches, streams, and river (etc.) are full and over flowing and the spring run off from the mountains ain't started yet. We're still getting snow every day then it melts by late afternoon. And spring rains haven't even started yet, there's a whole lotta chit comin' your way fella's. As if the record snowfall and cold temperatures weren't enough. Here, some information:http://www.greatfallstribune.com/article/20110407/NEWS01/104070303/1002/rss, and this is just in one tiny area. Canada has some more H2O for you. And if you think the current gov't is just gonna cut a big billion dollar check for it's own citizens and send troops and people to aid, don't hold your breath, there's no profit in helping the American people.

Nothin here yet in sunny Bama. Few days ago we had some insanely heavy rain though.....

There's a reason I have a small group of ATV/ATC riders locally that act as an emergency team, when trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro hits the fan here, it hits by the truckload. Chainsaws and chains at the ready.

x2 with chazz

The chainsaws always get put away ready to go.
Well, everything does.
Started filling a 'bug out bag'.

Maybe even one for the truck too.
Dried soups and water. Camping type stuff.

Altho I can't really imagine Where to go since it's all here on the farm.

When I lived in the city, there was no where to run,
so it seemed a little more important.

Seems like this spring weather is bouncing all over the place.
Just feels a little better to be prepared.

Sadly here in Texas we are having quite the dry spell, those storms need to detour this way.

Here in North East Tennessee it rained and had golf ball sized hail. My neighbor has a rain gauge and said we got over 2 inches in 2 hours. My drive way is in my yard today and it was the first time I have ever had water in the shop. I rode around the block, here's some pictures. These are all just fields and dutches that are normally dry, not over flowed creeks.

Holy trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro, here in North Alabama(RIGHT ON the Tennessee line), we have had dry, cloudless, 80 degree weather all day. It was 87 here yesterday.

It's not even that bad windy, this is really, really odd.
