Hello, I found out my buddy has a quadzilla fram sitting in his shop. He says it dosent have a motor in it. So i'm wondering what would be a simple swap for it. Needs motor, carb, radiator, exhaust. Thanks for info
Simple = Original engine. Beyond that I am sure fabricating of some sort will be required with any non oem engine. The simple part is contingent upon your fabricating skills. (Just a little FYI, we do have a Quad section)

My buddy had a TRX 250R with a Q-zilla 500 motor cramed into it. So I guess a 250R motor would go into the Q-zilla chassis.
Buy the way, the Q-zilla motor would rip the stock TRX 250R frame apart every time he rode it.

I read an article years and years ago where people were putting >1000cc street bike motors in Zilla frames. It was pretty crazy. Point being, as BKM mentioned, pretty much anything is possible depending on your skills.

i would use a 600 or 750 gxsr.. they are extremely dirt cheap. I cant think of any single cylinder other than the zilla 500 that really belongs in that frame..

I talked to my buddy and looked at the prices of the motors i think he might want to put a gsxr 600 in it. would be a going machine

That'd be cool. Just do it right, or we will laugh at you and call you dirty names.
