Just say its an investment. You can stick money in it and it will just be in the garage. Better than the stock market at times

She would never buy that line. She has heard it 5 times before. Besides I dont really need another project right now. I have 4 trikes in various states of dis-repair as I type this.

cool You have a drive ahead of you. What are the details on it? What is missing? does it run?

not running....stator and cover is missing, kicker lever, and .....wait for it.....wait for it......the rear hubs and wheels are gone. Imagine my luck! Wheels no biggee, but those hubs won`t be cheap to get.

I`ll post pics later....the pics sold me. Even as a parts pile there are way more than $150 of it left. Plastic is all good he said and looks good from the pics (in the dark...lol).

I`ve been wanting a (another if you count my non-running project from back in `91 that never materialized into a runner) Tecate for many years now and I was fairly desperate to score one that was affordable.....meaning keeping it under $1200-$1500 after rebuild......$150 bux makes the budget balance MUCH bigger even including $100 in gas to go pick it up. He`s up in Rockville (town closest to Turkey Run State Park) and I`m more than familiar with the area since I used to canoe there when I was a Hoosier (from Morgantown, IN originally...near Nashville/ Bean Blossom)....gonna be a 4 1/2- 5 1/2 hour trip one way but worth it to me.

even "runners" I buy end up needing a metric sh$t ton of money dropped in them to be up to my standards.....tried to contact that guy from here with the $700 T3 in TN. when I got my tax refund but he never answered me back so I guess he sold it....then this project pile came around thanks to you posting that link, hoosierlogger. You have my gratitude.
