You're right, that's an insane price. Man, I'm surprised it's still listed, and it's a 90' (lol), collectors item, definately, lol. Still, if it's thrashed internally, that's still a killer deal for as complete as it is.

Sweet boys, just bought it. Thanks for the heads up. Even cleared it with the wifey first! Always wanted a 250R.

Now just have to find time to go get it. He's about 2.5 hours north of me.

Hopefully it's as nice as it is in the pics. Sometimes things look really good in a small pic and then you see it up close and it looks way different. But for 400 I really can't complain

Who asks the wife? Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission...... (and harder to get rid of it after the fact!)

I'm hoping he isn't getting bombarded with offers through eBay right now and contemplating selling to somebody else offering more...... It would be a sleazeball thing to do but I really wouldn't be surprised

He seemed to know that he was pricing it really low though.

Oh well if it's meant to be then it will happen

Me too. All the people I work with make fun of me because I will drive 2 hours to pick up something like that. Last friday I drove 2 hours each way to pick up a Kawasaki 300 Lakota for my daughter. Its a 98 with perfect plastic and no tears in the seat. Runs great, no issues. $900 bucks. It was worth the drive. My daughter loves it. She and I got to spend 4 hours together riding and laughing to go get it. Hell we discovered "GOOBERTOWN Arkansas" while we were on our way. We are still laughing about that.

Thats what its all about...Sounds like the hunt/trip was worth that all by itself....

I've also driven far distances to get items I bought online. Farthest was to Minnesota to get a truck bed for my Toyota in 2007. It was about 700 miles round trip.
