Hey, weather was great, went out and did some riding (slow going in the woods and trails, still sore from the "incident")

I bet Eric Won!! lmao

Cool picks. I wished I could find time to get another Haspin and Badlands run in yet this year. Too many projects and too little time. lol

Howdy Thanks for the nice coments. YOU'RE RIGHT!!!! Eric DID win!!! It would be nice to get a big ride in this year, but I am afraid it is too late in the season for anything major. I went to DirtWeek this past June, and was VERY disappointed with the event. Next spring/summer I got the ok from the wife to take another trip.....going to try out some Dunes this time. :-D My brother works with a guy who is about finished with his summer/vacation/rental home in Michigan. (If I remember correctly) And he offered use of the house for us. Could take the motorhome, but the house would be better! Anyway, I think the name of the riding area is Silver Lake Sand Dunes. His house is right there within riding distance. It would be nice to get a group of guys together for a long weekend up there. It is a bit of a drive for us, but what the heck. I will probably stay for a week. I AM going whether or not anybody goes with me. I can almost ALWAYS find a buddy or 2 of mine that can tag along. If not, I will just go alone and make new friends :D :D

I think the 350X stole the scene in this pic. Hell it looks better than those quads doing the wheelies by just sitting doing nothing heheh. There's no better tire for the 350X than Spider~Tracs IMO.

Well, I like SpiderTracs too, but THESE ones on THIS 350X are TOTALLY trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro. The beads are in bad shape. I got a puncture in one of them, and as you all know....gotta have EQUAL pressure in BOTH rears or the "exit stage right syndrome" comes into play. Well, as the one tire lost air, I continued riding and lettin air outta the good tire every so often until BOTh were flat. SpiderTracs are SO hard (6 ply) that you can run them with no air and still be ok........ OK until ya gotta get through a stream and up a steep bank. Yep, I was stuck in the stream with the wheels just spinnin in the tires. By the time I got out and then back up the 40ft hill back to the railbed, the beads were smokin pretty good. Now, unless ya run 12lbs of air, they will leak off in about 1hr. Oh well, ya gotta do what ya gotta do, huh?

My brother ran Speder-Tracs on his 250R and they were awesome. Never had an ounce of trouble and always hooked up.

Michigan house is done and ready for visitors. He had company over about two weeks ago. I thought it was gonna be a cabin...it's a friggin huge, helluva nice place!!!!! He'll be glad to have some folks up...he will have his Subaru Legacy SpecB (280HP) powered dune buggy ready by next year for sure, he has it running now, just needs tweaked.
