aye, thats kind of expensive for one. I picked mine up for just over a grand in near mint shape. just needs some paint.

redskinman, it does go to the rear monoshock. It holds nitrogen.

He's asking a question about the bike in question, not his own. Maybe he doesn't quite know everything there is to know about his bike. I don't think it was in any way a Hi-Jack, but a legitimate question concerning the bike that the thread was created for.

I've only owned my 200x for a short while and I couldnt remember seeing that on mine
I think because his bike is so clean it stuck out more to me,mine is tucked away a little more than his
I've owned my 250r since 1989 and I learn new stuff about it all the time. The day you think you've learned all you need to know is the day you need to just log off and not come back, because all you'll do is look down your nose at others as they try and learn.

Never underestimate how much something will go for on e-bay. I bet I could sell a 10 dollar bill for 20 dollars if I waited long enough. E-bay is nuts sometimes. You have to get alot of money for your items now to cover all of the fees. That guy prolly pocketed 2 grand after ebay fleeced him.

For $2750 I'd expect for the decals to be in mint condition, the frame to be all one color (notice the red paint spot in front of the engine) and the tank to be OEM condition without rust. Also for the seat to fit snug on the tank...
It's nuts what some people will pay for something they will never ride.

Did new 200X's come with mud flaps? I don't know if I've ever seen mud flaps on one before but my OEM 350X rear fenders has mounting holes that I thought were for rear mud flaps. If I wanted a mint OEM trike things like the baffle, tires and mud flaps would be a big deal to me cause that's the things that get thrown away first.

I am amazed that a 1st gen 200x went for that high! I also have a 85 200x in similiar condition all original and I paid $650 for it. Good to see it fetch a high number, I feel like I made a good investment. The other 200x thats listed for $2900 on ebay has been on there for over a year and a half that I know of! Makes me wonder what the deal is.

The deal is how much he wants for it and the crappy pics he's put up of it.Anybody asking that much money needs to have large detailed pics and lots of them

One thing is for sure, they are not makeing any more of them. Better get them now boys and girls the prices will only go up as the years go by.20 years from now we will all be remembering the day a near mint 200x went for only 2750!

No mud flaps,BK,they came ,,just as you SEE this one! It was never TOUCHED!. Look how square the rear and plastic are. Just amazing! I have some nice stuff,I have a 82 ATC 200 that has maybe 20 miles on it,mostly in the snow,,,It's not that clean! TMK,Honda only ever did the "duckbill",fr fender extension,never offered rears that I recall. I put a new set on mine soon after getting it,,Can't remember the Manufacturer to save me tonight! IMS rings in my mind,but not right? They weren't Maier. They fit good,I remember the packaging having a yellow stripe up the edge?? Rivited on and worked good.

This guy probably made it look like it was sold because a lot of people were probably sending him emails telling him he is crazy asking for so much.
Look they are still for sale, and look at the pics. The handle bar grips change colors with the stickers. One pic has blue grips, with 200x sticker on rear fender, and another pic has has the same stickers with black grips. Now look at the bikes pictured together one with blue grips without stickers and the other with black grips without stickers. Could be a scam too. Definitely not all original. And they don't look that nice at all.
I know some one that has a bridge for sale too.
