I got an '86 Big Red a few weeks ago, and since I've had it I've painted it, fixed the gas tank leak, and cleaned it beyond clean. Now my only question is, why haven't I ridden it yet??? :wondering
Has anyone ever had the same problem, and what's the longest you've gone without riding your new toy? I just want to make sure I'm not alone!

I always buy my trikes not running (cheaper that way) so it is usually a while before I get to ride them. It was over a year and a half on my 200x lol

I try to ride mine at least once or twice a week even if it is like MR_RPM said.. just for a 10 minute cruise. By the way MR_RPM... I am liking that 110 in your picture. Its a far cry from the old 110 I used to ride back in the early 80's. Not sure exactly what year it was, but it had a silver gas cap and a round headlight. The switch was on top of the headlight too... I remember that.

sounds like a first year 110 1979 I think. I got one like you described

That would be about right. I borrowed it from my girlfriends little brother. It was in about 1981 and I know it was not brand new. He had gotten tired of it so she let me ride it for a couple of months. I could not keep up with my friends. they were riding 185's and 200's. So I bought an 82 Big Red.

Shoot, when I first got my 70 it wasnt running.

I hooked it up to my BR with a rope and rode around the yard on the 70.
