79 ford supercab with factory air, cruise, PB, split window, toolbox, tinted windshield upgraded, yanked the 460, upgraded to DOVE block bored .080 over/stroked to a 557ci, kept iron heads, ported and bumped out to 2.21/1.9, forged crank/rods/custom pistons with a goal of 9.5:1 so pump gas would be ok, 950 dbl pumper with a mild cam so I could still drive it on the street, pretty much everything replaced from steel fuel lines/pumps to gauges, new trans, D44 in front to D60, all new driveline shafts F450, cut and balanced (with loops if they grenade) electronic header dumps for fun when I want to show off the 700ftlb torque. Last to come is paint

sorry not a truck or bike, but here's the 48' chevy my brother and i picked up from my cousin after our uncle passed away. it sat in a garage for over 15yrs before we pulled it out and took it home. right now we (he) is figuring up how much time and money it's gonna take for a frame off resto. it's all original (6volt system even, my uncle was a purist) except for a respray my uncle had done. it had a couple bubbles in the paint on the trunk lid. just respraying the trunk stood out just enough, so he did the whole car. hopefully the projected resto will be within our budget or atleast close to it. :wondering

Platikosmd, that it is one nice truck! What was the HP on the dyno? With those heavier driveshafts are you going to try pulling it?You never mentioned what it has for trans. What does it get for gas mileage, just jokeing.

C6, stall around 1200 ish or so. not pulling, daily driver in the summer. hp was 600, tq 700. Tq may have been a bit more as dyno was slipping to hold it back on the low end. It is a stump puller. Add a cam, bigger carb and alum. heads and that would add more hp, but I dont need 900+ hp at 6k rpm, would rather have the 700 ftlbs at 3300, makes for an exciting ride. lights up the 35" like they are not even there and will break them free on the highway, that gets some looks.

i see your into the lil red xpress trucks lol there actually really nice and that 4x4 would go great with a 440 ;) and nice runners too

The 4x4 has a built 360. Ive had trucks in the past with 440s but their just to heavy in the mud. I can get alot of power from a small block with the rite mods and save alot of weight. The big blocks work better in the cars for me.

its not all that old and its not mine but i did have a HUGE part in the build of it.. the owner and i split most of the cutting welding and sanding but he did the paint (cuz i suck at that) took about 5 years and alot of blood and sweat but i think it turned out pretty sweet

Here are 2 cars that my dad has refinished for a good friend of ours. When the blue car was done years ago, it took Top 10 coast to coast award through GoodGuys. The red truck, the picture here sucks. but it is BRIGHT and the finish is flawless. Like a red mirror. It took Top 10 at the GoodGuys National car show in Columbus, OH. both cars have 100K+ in them, and everything on them is wicked.....both run and drive, but looking under the hood, you wouldnt think it would even turn over. Describing the flatness and perfection in the paintwork is impossible to describe.
Ive done some work to both, but my father is the real talent behind the finished product. Only thing we didnt really touch was the interior, both were done by Krist Customs in Indiana.

Downside to both is keeping them clean.....full time job even if it just sits in the garage. The red truck is nicer than the blue/green coupe, but I havent been around the red truck with my new camera to get a good pic. Yes, it is painted with a blue/green flip. but it is very subtle, it just at first appears like its the shadows in the curves of the car.
