Daughter made it around the world and is now teasing me with a country in south america with a winter temp in the 60's and hot summer beach temps
in the 80's.

Year round gardens, almost NO need for heat or airconditioning
and 650$ a month includes food, utilities, and internet.

and DearGod, the tourism video had atc's on the roads with blinkers and license plates.

Maybe there IS heaven on earth.

If I get to move where I want to, we will soon be in the Arizona/Nevada area. Preferably the Phoenix area. I have got my fingers crossed..

Second that, but it will never happen. I want to be close to the dunes and be able to ride 365 days a year if need be. St. louis weather already gets 100+ in the summer with high humidity and colder than a well diggers ass in the winter. I'm also tired of the extreme seasons and the damn tornados every other week.

If i could live anywhere in the world it would be my hometown Ridgebury Pennsylvania. I am there every weekend anyways as i only live an hour from there now, but nonetheless i would still like to move back. Upstate NY is still nice and I love the changing seasons. I would hate to live somewhere that is the same climate every day of the year.

Ditto BR44,I'm 40 minutes from There. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such beauty,,,and now it's being taken away day by day. You know what I mean! Gas drillers, every square inch! Soon won't have water fit to drink,or air fit to breathe.

I wouldn't actually 'live' anywhere. But one of these is where I'd rest my head:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJlfTyYKKZ4&feature=related. The South Pacific would be my big back yard. Check these videos out, this is the life I dream about:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gP5c6sK_OxM. Freedom, no kiddin'.

i would have to say the good ol UP(thats upper peninsula of michigan) where i am originally from, BUT that isnt going to happen again because of financial reasons there just isnt left up there any more jobs and so forth. But if that ever changes and jobs start coming back something alot higher then minimum wage i will look back into moving there again but i doubt that will ever happen again up there. But i love the piece and quite, low crime rates, wilderness, all the outdoor activities. yeah granted there are more months of winter then anything you get use to it lol, plus I am a YOOPER born and raise and that last a life time no matter where i live i will always be a YOOPER lol.

You guys are great. Montana's o.k., but Montana's tough. Pretty low income state. The cost of living (utilities) is rediculous. And tough weather. We're looking at moving to Oregon in the next couple years. Just got the kids school and stuff holding us back. Out of all of Montana, the far NorthWest, Kalispell area and so-fourth is the most incredible, what an awesome place right there....if you're a millionaire or Doctor or something.

I have spent some time around Kalispell, but if my life wasnt in Minneapolis, I would be outside of Bozeman... (Hell Roaring Creek)

Lorreto TN, I have a friend who owns a few hundred acres of land up there, beautiful.

Huge creek on his property, lots of good ridable woods and trails, climbable canyons, and caves galore.

You can go camping on his land, and never see a sign of humanity, it's quit nice.

Different strokes for different folks! Not in a million years! I love water, and swimming and diving,,but roasting like a lobster out on it? Not for me. Give me a dark rainy day in the woods. My cousin retired, left here, bought a big boat, charters on Lake Ontario. Then bought a winter place in Florida, has a couple huge boats down there. He loves it! The oil spill has put a hault to the Florida runs though.

Id really like to be up in some mountains, thinking rocky mountains. Id like to be Independence from people and have the equipment to be off the grid and get my own food if needed. With that id like the option to be close enough to a town where I can have some fun, but mainly id like to be alone with close friends and family. Not need alot of money to live and use my spare money for fun like on trikes and stuff.

have a big chunk of land

but this is just a wacky dream of course

Right where I am in Buck County Pa. Four great seasons of weather. Just move the clock back about 25 years. Back when you could ride miles of farmers fields and woods. Just wave and ride respectfully and everything was good.

You know what I'm talking about chuckiedog04 I seen it got up to 115 with the humidity somewhere in MN I don't know if you like hot weather but I hate it.

I had a poster on my wall in school that said
'ski nebraska'

It was a picture of people on skis out in a flat and level cornfield
with the wind a blowin'.
Still makes me smile.

Now where is the new madrid fault?
relative to nebraska?

Somewhere in the country....maybe Montana, Colorado, etc. All I want is a good chunk of wooded and some flat land. With river and lake access. All sitting within riding distance of my modest log cabin home and big ass garage.
