I am a die hard St. Louis Blues fan, but its kinda like being Hockeys version of a Cubs fan. "There is always next year".

But I am a huge Tim Thomas fan so it is great to see him get to play for the cup. I say B's in 7.

Thoughts?

I know we have a lot of North of the Boarder fellas on the site who were probably born with skates on thier feet and a stick in their hand.

Since Vancouver took out my Hawks (been a Hawks fan forever I didn't just jump on the wagon last year) I have to say Canucks in six... I have to say I wasn't decided on who I wanted from the east until Stamkos took one in the face last night, so I was pulling for Tampa just out of principal ...

OH NO, not a Hawks fan:lol:. I still can't get past my hate for the Hawks going back to the late 80's early 90's Blues Hawks rivalry. But after last year you guys can call score board all day on us and there aint a damned thing we can do about it until we hoist the cup. (which will probably never happen in my life time)

I think the bruins can do it in 6 or 7. its going to be a really good series.

Red Wings fan here, been a fan since around 95,when i was 6 and seen a red wings game on tv,didnt know anything about hockey or the franchise at the time. just liked the winged wheel so i stuck with em!

I've been a huge Bruins fan for most of my life. the last time they won a cup was right before I was born in 1972.. I'd deffinately like to see them do it. But, it's going to to a tough series for sure... B's in 6

As long as Thomas doesn't get too far from the net, which he is notorious for doing in these past few games, I think the Bruins can do it.

As a B's fan transplanted in Atlanta, I say Bruins in 7. Also agree with Billyboy, Thomas needs to stay back.

That's just Thomas' style. He does not play a traditional style or this new butterfly (not Patrick Roy Butterfly) stuff that most netminders do these days. I played Goaltender since I was about 8 years old and I played all "Helter Skelter" like Thomas or Hasek. I truely love watching him play the position. He is definitely my favorite player in the league right now.

I just hope the B's have the scoring to get the job done. Ole #1 in the net for the Nucks is standing pretty tall himself.

If you would spend less time on kiiji or what ever the hell it is, you could get in a few games here and there.

I can't believe Burrows didn't get suspended for biting Bergeron IN GAME 1!!! What the hell was that?

Chara didn't get suspended for pushing a guy into a turnbuckle so a little bite can't be too bad

A hockey play at speed is a little different than a Mike Tyson type incident. There have been guys ridden out of the play for decades and hammered into the glass stantions, and they have never been suspended. With all the hype over head injuries lately it was a powder keg looking for a place to explode. Plus it just happened to be between two of the leagues bigest rivals. Anyway, it looks like the Canucks might just be to much for the Bruins

Chara hit the guy at speed in the moment, the only thing that made it look dirty was the fact the guy hit the stanchion, biting is in the same list as kicking to the groin.... These are two very different incidents... there is no comparison... everybody that hits the ice is aware that there is a chance of getting seriously hurt... (BTW, I know my thing says Virginia but I grew up in upstate NY so its not like I'm new to hockey)

Watched the game last night, Nucks won 3-2 in OT, their 2-0 now in the Finals, 2 more wins and they got the cup. i change my 6 or 7 to 5 or 6 (to be nice to Boston and give them a win or 2 on Home Ice, witch is where they will be playing Tomorrow for Game 3)

Well, Rome got suspended for 4 games, and rightly so! But Horton is out for the rest of the series also....What a cheap shot!!

That was a scary hit and didn't look good when he was on the ice. I hope he's ok. I did however love the hit Thomas put on one of the Sedin sisters.

Looks like Vancouver might have awoken a sleeping animal. Ole Roberto looks like he's a deer in the headlights out there and was that Ron Hextall or Tim Thomas in nets for the Bruins tonight against Burrows.

The problem with Luongo, is he is nearly unbeatable but if you get him once your in his head its over for him... its usually a shutout for him or a blowout

Plus the Bruins are throwing the Sedin sisters around like rag dolls. Its amazing how soft them guys are once you get a little physical with them.
