Too funny.. Not all that rare.. But it's not even made for a Tecate it's made by Acerbis for a late 80's KX dirtbike. And he only has half of it.. lol

I still have it, but it's now green. The red 84's are more prevalent than the green 84's. The red 85's are the exact opposite, red 85's are rare.

Man I don't know which one I like better. They definately look like a no monkey business, pure bred race machine. Like Hang&Rattle said in another post, if it didn't make it go fast, the Tecate didn't have it.
Very cool bikes. I gotta get my "R" done so I can put that behind me and then think about a Tecate. I was planning on doing a cr125 powered 200x, but I think I might try a little green on for size.

I've also had a foot tall "real" mohawk that was differing colors and leopard spots for a while. My hair was blue for a while too, among other colors.

The red 85 had an 84 front end on it. The 85 front end went on my now green 84. Apparently you think I don't know anything about Tecate's.. If you knew anything about Tecate's you would have noticed the rest of the parts that make an 85 an 85.. Wanna make a guess on the year of the one behind it?? It has KLT hubs on it. :lol: I was definitely not a Menudo fan.. Naming your mexican boy band after a meal of brains is messed up to say the least.. :lol: I have talked to the guy selling the Brake cover before when he was selling his Tecate for like $7K or something. Looks like he still has it. His Tecate was on Ebay a lot and never sold for his reserve. He said that the rear shock had Jimmy White's shock internals in it.. :rolleyes: :D
