My 86R is still a frame sitting naked in my shop. I ordered around 1000$ in parts yesterday, nothing like the last minute! Planning to have the R tuned and running perfect for TF the week before, who else is planning to slide into TrikeFest with last minute builds lol ?

Parts ordered yesterday:

-20x10x10 itp wheels, polished that will be blasted and powdercoated black before TF after arriving Friday this week :D

-20x10x10 fast trekkers
-Throttle and clutch cables
-Extended braided brake line to fit extended swinger
-400ex bolt to replace the stock 250R bolt I cut to remove swinger
-O ring chain
-Chain cutter
-Chain slider
-Swing arm bushings/bearings/seals
-Rear brake rotor to replace cracked stock one
-130$ bolt kit
-Triple tree bearings
-Renthal handle bars
-IRS Gear shifter lever
-A good half dozen other parts I forgot. PUMPED to receive and install.

My frame and swinger are already powdercoated black, waiting on foot pegs/engine mounts/brake lever/lots of small parts to be picked up Friday from coater. IM SO FREAKING STOKED FOR TF11!!! Anyone else excited?

We are currently building Shelly an R. It is pretty much done, but not together at all. She has been cleaning parts for weeks now. She got lots of new goodies for it. It has tons of parts of a famous race bike for the rear end. Should be an awesome trike.

We hope to have it mostly together by this weekend.

For the first time since 07, I"m actually ready. There are a few things I"m going to do to my R before packing, but nothing that "needs" to be done. I'm ready to roll baby!!!

125671If I run out of room packing I might be putting rear bearing in this at TrikeFest and borrowing it from the owner for the week end. Lots of stuff coming down this year !

Just gotta put on the new ASV levers and I am ready to roll with this one.
The newly restored Mr. Clean tank looks a little too nice for this dirty ole R.
Sorry about the low res picture.

My Bandito build may not be ready in time for TF but I am and that's what counts the most. I'm in the process of moving and that has put a halt to trike building. In theory I have all of the parts, just don't have the time right now. I have 3 3wheelers that are ready though.

Be careful. We were at Bundy Hill 2 weekends ago, and that place was eroded really bad from all the rain they had up there. A lot of the hills we hit during Trike Circus were gone, washed away. Buddy rolled my wife's quad, then flipped his 250SX back on himself, so we called it a day.

UPDATE: Shelly's bike is all done except for some parts that are ordered but not delivered yet. Mainly front hub and axle, front brakes, handlebars - you know - the little un-important stuff!

I have to change the oil on the Big Red, adjust the carb on the 200s, and finish up my semi-resto on one of the ALT50's. I will be pushing to get them done by next Wednesday, so we can hit the road early on Thursday.

Shelly's trike will stand on it's own 3 wheels tonight. Planning on some heat cycles too! Just need a few odds and ends not - and fab some 450R foot peg adaptors and retro fit 450R heal guards on. We are really cutting things close. She still has not been fired up!

Well - I am almost done - just a little more stuff. Controls, bars, pegs, carb, then tuning and tweaking. Everynight this week I was in the garage until after midnight - and I wonder why I am dragging my butt everyday at work!

Mike - wanna do a little "Scrambling" with me this year?????? Mine is going too! It has been at my brothers since last TF. He stores it for me and hauls it for me - how sweet is that! Keeps me from punishing it all year long :)

See you in a few days buddy!

HOLY CRAP MAN!! that things beautiful! Love it man top notch work as usual.

temp gauge with inline cooler arrived yesterday. Ordered another swingarm kit from atvbushings.com (Helm's) that is just basically polyurethane bushings and sleeves that replace the stock needle bearings and collars. I also ordered an FMF exhaust spring and o ring package too. I picked up my powerdercoated 10 inch ITP wheels last night from the coater, look awesome!!1 Dropped off my old stock swinger to a guy thats going to press the frozen bolt out of it so i can get my hanger bracket out of the center lol this weekend I want her on her own "two feet"
