Mine is a rancher. Or I'm sure your foreman would do about the same. I am still going with the 589 ms

our stock rancher(2x4) tires are awesome in the mud. They don't look like they would be, but I'm amazed how well it does for a two wheel drive ATV.

The 589's would be good for your Rancher. I have the Goodyear Rawhide Grips on my Foreman and they hook up better than most of the pure mud tires out there. Spidertracs and the Bear Claws work good too.

How much was the 2 wheel drive option? That would be good for playing in the sand and dirt :D

i have bear claws and they work real well but the front end is much too stiff for me. i'm not in the mud that much so i just got a new front set of those new holeshot atr tires but have'nt put them on yet.

How well do you think a pair of geckos would do on a big red for mud/snow riding?

Well....put a set of 28" Outlaws on your 250 Recon....or put them on the 650 Rincon or 660 Grizzly. Now, tell me which one would have the power to spin them fast enough in foot deep mud to clean them out... :?

so you are saying Outlaws only come 28?

No....just saying that engine cc has a lot to do with a tire choice. The more agressive the tread pattern (being 22" or 28") the more power it robs from the engine.

the tires your dad has on his 600 polaris sportsman are most likely rawhides, alot of polaris sportsmen come with them on em

Have heard that polaris won't honor warranty with outlaws due to high grip and breaking shafts and other parts. Anyone heard anything like this??
