While I'm not a big Base ball fan I am Happy for the Marlins. To me it seems the Yanks spend more money trying to buy a World Series. This time they got runners up. Too bad they didn't lose to Boston. lol

P.S. My favorite team was the Red's. I lost interest after too many years of dissapointment.

Yea, I am not the biggest Base Ball fan either but root,root,root,for the home team. sorry about the other post not being Trike related....

Way to go Florida. The only way it could have been better is if they lost to the Cubs or Red Sox, that really would have ticked Steinbrenner off.

Yes I am a baseball fan, not a Marlin fan, A philly phan, but i really have nothing against the Marlins, and i hate the Yanks, I'm so happy a wildcard beat the unbeatable, overpaid team in 6 at home.

I'm a HUGE baseball fan. Remember what happened the last time Florida won a world series? The owner dismantled the team. How are they ever going to keep their fans if they keep this up????? If I were a Florida Marlins fan in '97, I would have given up on them for good! I do like the fact that they are a young team and underdogs--nothing against the players, just the ownership. Oh yeah, BUY THAT TEAM A FREAKING BALLPARK!!!!!!

yup,greatest thing ive witnessed all year!! just remember..watch out for the orioles next year!! we're already talkin .500,maybe even 3rd place!!
