I see on Ebay there are many to choose from..I don't want a $300 cam. Just something decent in the $100 range..

Anyone buy any of these and how do they work..maybe even a spot a video on here to see how good it shoots.

Send a link to the Ebay item you bought if you could..or to the online store you bought from if it isn't ebay..

Just looking for something decent to shoot video while we ride..

Thanks.

You should check out Fuji's xp15 cam. They advertise it as shock, freeze, mud, and waterproof. I think I paid well under 200 bucks at costco a couple of years ago, sorry I don't have any pics or clips to post. (don't know how anyway) I can tell you from experience that it is def. mudproof though. One note, don't even try to use the supplied usb cable to upload to your comp. use a card reader.

58$ locally, 4 different mounts and waterproof case avail.
Midland xtc100 vp2
NOwhere on the box or spec sheet does it say 'audio' so they aren't selling.
but it DOES have audio.
Lots of videos from this unit online to see.

tiny little sucker, works great.
size of a roll of quarters and weighs nothing.
Can't even feel it in my shirt pocket.

2 hr battery life (recharger and batteries are 10 bucks)
and a 4 gig sd card for 9$ hold 4 hrs? and will go to32gig?
I saw a sunglasses cam for 80$ on CL.

guess it depends on what you want really.

Thanks hillbilly, but that would get trashed..mud, water, drops. Wouldn't last me a weekend.. I had mine for well over 3year and it has been through alot. -40* water, mud, sand fell out of my pocket doing 80km/h on the bike last year still works great.

I'd put up a wanted ad and see if anybody that is wanting to upgrade to the new HD GoPro is willing to sell their old GoPro. I sold mine pretty cheap once I got the HD model. You can find them used on ebay usually for well under a hundred. Be careful though. I just saw some joker selling the old model for the price of the new HD one, obviously hoping some sucker doesn't realize it's the old camera.
