well i might be getting a 1964 vw beetle. its pretty nice, going to try work a deal out with my grandpa on it. it will be my vehicle for running to town and daily things like that. possibly make a baja buggy out of it. would be nice for camping also. it used to be my mothers car for a while but my grandpa owns it now, but for $1000 i should jump on it.

I have and old dunebuggy now. I did have a 60 panel van, a 65 notchback and a Euro 56 oval that was in the movie "Diner".

talked to the owner today, the 64 bug has a 68 body on it. new engine, needs the carb rebuilt but he will do it. it does have some rust but not very much, I will be working out a deal with him soon enough. i want the car pretty bad.

Never owned, but built a few... I laid out a blue '66 cargo Van on air ride, tucking 19" wheels... T'was named the Sik-Six-Six... Also built a nasty pro-stock, cro-moly tube chassis '64 Beetle building 340hp on a n/a opposed 4... Was named "Flatliner"... I gotta see if I can dig up some pics...

He ended up selling the car with his "little" cam in it @ 260hp... with his really nasty cam, it was building 340hp but breaking lots of tranny parts he said... All steel car, (shell of a car) on a custom moly tube chassis....

Here is the Sik Six Six...

Where did I come from? Errr.... Minnesota! I have built hundreds of cars over the last 10 years... Starting to forget some of the cool ones! Had alot of fun getting paid to build cars, but those days are over....
